Why cant a mole remover remove Small circle tattoos?

I have 3 small circle tattoos 1/8 of a dime on my web hand of my thumb and finger
because some mexican guy tattooed on me (asian) as a prank.
I found a cheap skin mole remover at the store, but I heard it cant remove tattoos
WHY NOT? ITS ON the skin too

Because with a tattoo….the ink is deposited under the skin so it’s a permanent marking. A topical cream cannot remove a tattoo. I have been in the medical field for a long time and I have never heard of a mole remover and I have no idea how it’s supposed to work. The only way to successfully remove a tattoo is by surgically removing it by a plastic surgeon or by a special laser which you could find at a medical spa, dermatology office or plastic surgeon office.
