Why cant a mole remover remove Small circle tattoos?

I have 3 small circle tattoos 1/8 of a dime on my web hand of my thumb and finger
because some mexican guy tattooed on me (asian) as a prank.
I found a cheap skin mole remover at the store, but I heard it cant remove tattoos
WHY NOT? ITS ON the skin too

Mole remover doesn’t work. If it did it would work on tattoos too because in theory it removes the layers of skin and the pigment till there is no mole left. If that were the case it would work on a tattoo as well. Or at least fade it. I would recommend you don’t mess with it though. Have a professional remove it or get a tattoo over those. You could probably come up with a design that makes them not noticeable.

wow Ashely you need to go back to school. A mole isn’t just located on the epidermis. It can also go into the dermis. If it was just located in the epidermis you would not have to have stitches when you remove it at the dermatologists. The ink in a tattoo and a mole are about in the same region. Your answer showed much ignorance.
Because moles are ON the skin, tattoos are NOT.
Now stop asking.
Mole = epidermis.
Tattoo = dermis.
The only thing that will remove a tattoo is a lazer treatment, which isn’t even 100% effective, as there will always be a scar or mild pigment difference.
