I have a mole that is flesh toned.. it has been slightly raised for years. All of a sudden is has raised and is itchy. It almost resembles a wart now. The mole is on my chest and I want to have the least amount of scaring possible. WHo should I have remove it? A general surgeon, dermotologist or plastic surgeon? My insurance will not pay for a plastic surgeon. Thank you.

You should start with your dermatologist first.

Perhaps you should consult a general surgeon and ask their advice. I really think medical questions are too important to ask random people on yahoo answers.
