I found out that I had genital warts 1 1/2 years ago and got them treated. Last time I was there the doctor said that they are gone and the HPV virus usually will clear up on its own. I'm trying to concieve now and want to know if having this would effect my chances? the doctor also told me that it is very unlikley to pass this on to your child but the only thing that could happen is that your baby could have warts in their throat. I just moved and haven't got a new doctor yet so thanks for your help.
What is the tool that dermatologists use to freeze off genital warts? I'm sick of going to the doctor to have this old half blind broad do it, and aim poorly or not completely it's ridiculous. I could do an infinately better job myself. I swear just because someone has the label "doctor" they supposedly can "aim " better and I shouldn't try it myself? what horse manure that is. I have the eyes and hands of a jeweler. I should be able to burn them off myself. The amount of beaurocracy and nonsense in reguards to health and self healing sickens me (no pun intended) . the home kits you can buy at the drugstore made my compound-w wont work for genital warts , because the giant swab is far too clumbsy and innaccurate ...the ones the dematologist uses shoots a very accurate pinpoint shot... can these be had by the public... legally... i would think if you lived in the middle of nowhere you should be able to do it yourself (or if your doctor is blind, and are sure you coudl do a better job.
my friend just notified my that she got genital warts and thought it was from this guy that we had both had sex with. she told me to get checked to make sure i didnt have it or to get it treated. i was wondering if there was anywhere to get examined for stds where a parent doesnt have to be present because i dont want my parents to find out? for instance does plan parenthood do examinations?
Well first off, I recently found out I had genital warts, got it treated. They freeze burned them.. I understand I'm going to have them forever now.. Does this mean my sex life is gone now? Does this mean it's going to affect who'll want to be with me in the future? The girl I've got it from, is no longer in my life.. We had a big fight, and we will not work it out, but I'm almost positive I got it from her. I just feel really awful about myself..
ive been reading a lot about using apple cider vinegar to treat genital warts. I have already had them removed twice (by a doctor) and its just a little too expensive so i tried this apple cider vinegar idea. Most people says it stings, which mine did not. And most people said it would turn the warts a white color, which my attempt did not. Im curious if there are different kinds of ACV to buy. I bought the only one they had at Kroger so I thought it would work. Any idea on what I'm doing wrong here? and should i buy a different kind, if so where do i buy it at? Meijer and Cvs only had the pill form.
My fiance had genital warts when I met him, but he said that he was in denial when he got them. I didn't know he had these warts when I slept with him. He went to his dermatolgoist to get them removed, but didn't go back like he was supposed to because it hurt him so bad. At the time I wondered if it was an STD, but my fiance didn't seem to think it was. Well, I ended up getting warts and I am currently being treated for them. I got them from him. He feels bad because if he wasn't so irresponsible, I wouldn't have gotten them. Would you be resentful?
My girlfriend had gotten hpv 2 years ago, a few months later came the genital warts, which were treated and cleared up. About half a year later I noticed I had some bumps around my genital area. I showed my doctor, who told me they looked like skin irritation but not HPV genital warts, and that I wouldn't have to worry. 2 years later I'm positive I have Genital warts from HPV. I tried aldera, with out a prescription for a few weeks and nothing worked. They've spread to my scrotum and around the base of penis. I'm feeling stressed, ashamed, and embarrassed, and unsure of what to do. I feel almost screwed over by my doctor. I've read that burning treatments are very painful and the warts will often grow back. I'm not sure what options I have, or how long it will take them to clear up on their own. Information I get from the internet is sketchy at best. I feel like these things are never going away. If there is anyone who has dealt with this and has some solid advise, please help. Thanks.

How can I fight off this virus? I heard that a good immune system can fight off the virus and get rid of warts. I also heard that it can go dormant in two years or less.
Has anyone had experiences like this? Also, I have some bacterban, which is bacterial cream that I used to use on my impetigo. Could I use this on my warts? Or will it not work since it is supposed to treat bacteria and warts are a virus?
