My son has a planters wart on the side of his foot. I am using the Dr. Scholls wart remover kit. I have heard a lot about using duct tape to get rid of these warts and want to know if anyone has tried it and did it work?

I have heard of 2 remedies to get rid of Plantars Warts. One is just putting Aloe Vera Cream on it for awhile and the other one is Putting Duct tape on it. My wart is getting really bad and if I don't get rid of it I am getting it dug out. I just want to know if anybody has tried these or if they know if they work.

Duct tape cure for knee warts?
I know I asked a question about warts just a couple days ago, but the problem i have is that i have warts all over my knees. The response i got is that duct tape works better to get rid of the warts than freezing them, but i cant very well cover my knees in duct tape. So are there any other effective ways to get rid?

I read to put duct tape on a wart to get rid of it, but I haven't read anywhere how long to leave the duct tape on.

I have a small plantar wart on my toe and its hard to duct tape it. Just a few questions:
1. Does the duct tape actually have to touch the wart itself?
2. The duct tape is not sticky and doesn't stay on. Any suggestions?
3. Should I leave the tape on all day and all night? My toe gets sweaty and wet.
4. Does this method actually work?

I have genital warts, and have been treating them myself at home using a combination of sallicylic acid, duct tape, and rubbing alcohol, and the results have been positive. Small warts have been destroyed, bigger ones are slowly decreasing in size. Very often in various readings, it is not recommended to treat genital warts at home, but that it is necessary to have them treated by a professional. Are there any serious risks involved with me treating them myself? What is the worst that can happen?
