I have two on my hands and they're driving me crazyyyyyyyyy! Does anyone know any good methods of getting rid of them, preferably without going to the doctors and getting them burned off...?! I've tried tea bags for a couple of weeks and that didn't work, am currently trying out lemon oil...no difference yet...

bazuka its fantastic, it coats the wart with like a waterproof seal, I had a wart and used this everyday and within about 3 days it had reduced in size dramatically and after 2 weeks it had gone completely and hasn’t reared its ugly head 2 years on, obviously going to the docs is quicker but it really does work a treat and you can buy it over the counter at a chemist
Bazuaka x
Bazuca that veruca, Bazuca that wart
i put duct tape on mine and they dried out and went away. it sounds weird but it worked.
holistic methods wont usually work. go to the pharmacy and get the doctor scholls wart remover patches, they really work. they use the same stuff as the dermotologist, but it doesnt sting at all and it takes a few days to work.
freeze them
i think the best thing to do is get them removed by the doctor if they are getting you this mad
I had one on my finger and I tried everything..the only thing that worked was going to the doctor….sorry but its the only thing that actually works!
Believe it or not duct tape…and a little bit of laundry detergent..but the laundry soap over the wart and then apply the duct tape..the soap suffocates it and the duct tape helps keep it air tight..or you could just use the duct tape by itself
omg your avatar looks like mine =] mines is sad freeze em off or you can go to the store and look at all the wart away products
When i had a wart on my toe I just didn’t pick at it or anything and then it went away. For now keep a bandade over it. if this doesn’t work go to the doctors so they can burn it.
Try getting them frozen. At your local pharmacy they’ll have a small gadget that freezes warts. You just stick it on your finger and the wart is gone! No pain!
My nan said something about an old wifes tale.
That you put vinegar on a cloth and rub that on it,
Then bury it in your garden.
I doubt it will work but give it a try
I used hypnosis to remove mine-after conventional medicine failed.
How to get rid of warts:
Things You’ll Need:
Pumice stone
Soft cloth
Petroleum jelly
Adhesive tape
Salicylic acid
Band-aid
Vitamin-C tablets
Emery boad
Step 1:
Boil water and soak a soft cloth in it. Squeeze out the water. Place the cloth on the wart for 10 minutes twice a day. This softens the wart’s surface. Rub the wart gently with an emery boad or pumice stone.
Step 2:
Protect the skin surrounding the wart with petroleum jelly. Carefully apply salicylic acid just to the wart and let it dry. Put a band-aid on the wart.
Step 3:
Cover the wart tightly with several layers of adhesive tape. Leave it on for six days, then check the wart. Remove the tape for a day, then repeat if necessary.
Step 4:
Apply crushed vitamin-C tablets, which are mildly acidic and may help remove warts. Cover with a bandage.
Step 5:
Consult your physician about cryotherapy, which freezes off the warts with liquid nitrogen. Other possible treatments include applying or injecting lactic acid or podophyllin. These treatments should be carried out only under a doctor’s supervision.
Buy a small can of liquid nitrogen at the pharmacy.
It is available right off the shelf for any one and is used for wart removal.
Fast, easy and pain free. Try it. It works!
I tried all sorts of over the counter remedies when i had them on my hands, none of which work.
Even the doctor freezing them had no effect so don’t waste your money on "home freezing" kits.
After some research i have learned that because a wart is positioned on the skin, the body doesn’t recognise it as something that needs dealing with, and as a result does not send out antibodies.
You need to injure the area of the wart.
I successfully did this by sticking a sewing needle into the wart as far as i could, and then heating the needle with a flame until i couldn’t stand the pain.
Sounds a bit drastic, but it works.
Good luck.
I worked in a Dermatologists office for a several years. The answers are correct when they say use Duct Tape. I have used it myself on my daughter. I take a small amount of Vaseline on a Q-tip and apply it, then cover tightly with the tape. Leave on for 2 days if you can. The heat from the tape and the Vaseline soften it up and the core will be easier to remove. The next day use the tape only and apply tight as you can. When you pull it off, the core should come out. If not, try another day. Yes, you could get them frozen off, or buy the OTC brand and use it with the Duct Tape too.
I had a wart on my thigh once and that wart medicine didn’t do anything, then I read somewhere that putting duct tape on it would help….low and behold!!! It went away in a few days!!!! I know it sounds weird but it worked for me…I can’t remember where I read it though………
